District 5 Queen

Shania Kentlee Laird is the 14 year old daughter of Jason and Sammy Laird of Logan, Utah. She has enjoyed doing Idaho District 5 Rodeo because it is her mom's alumni district, and she gets to stay with her grandparents, and enjoy spending time with her family at the same time. Her father, grew up on a large ranch, in Dubois, Idaho and while a twist of fate took them to Utah, she has had a great time getting to be an "Idaho" cowgirl! She enjoys figure skating, cheerleading, gymnastics, collecting vintage cowgirl boots, and rodeo memorabilia. She qualified for the Northwest Minature Bull Riding Finals at one point, and attended several bull riding schools. She has learned a lot of "life skills" participating in rodeo, she feels will serve her far beyond the arena. She would like to let the District 5 group of cowboys and cowgirls know how amazing they are, and that she is proud of each and every one of them. Representing them is a privledge and an honor. Welcome to the Idaho State High School Rodeo Finals! And Good Luck to Everyone!!!!
